Chelsea are upbeat over their pursuit of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea are hoping to reach agreement with Real Madrid for Morata after holding more positive talks.
The Spanish champions have been pushing for £75million for the 24-year-old and believe a deal can be concluded with Chelsea.
AC Milan had shown interest but are concentrating their efforts on Torino's Andrea Belotti while another option for AC Milan and Chelsea, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is expected to stay at Borussia Dortmund.
Morata has long been a favourite with Antonio Conte and the Chelsea manager agreed his new two-year contract in the knowledge the club would push to deliver quality additions to his title-winning squad.
Though disappointed at missing out on Romelu Lukaku, Conte worked with Morata at Juventus and wanted him last summer.
